Hi,
I have to do some work with really huge files
(>1GB). Bigarray.Array1.map_file works fine and very fast for small
and medium sized files, but virtual memory is limited. (On windows
AFAIK 2GB). Is there a way to specify an offset to the given file
(e.g. with a seek command) to make several Bigarrays of one file?
What is a realistic limit of the size for such a Bigarray? Are there
known differences between Unix/Windows?
A 64 bit processor is not a solution.
Thanks for any enlightenment,
Christoph Bauer
