I think that's because ocamlfind do not treat -where as a standard ocamlc option: $ ocamlc.opt -where /usr/lib/ocaml but $ ocamlfind ocamlc -where ocamlc.opt: unknown option `-where'. May be this is a bug, but I didn't found it on ocaml's mantis...
