IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca—recently ranked one of Italy’s top
universities for computer science in the last national research evaluation
exercise—invites applications for up to nine fully-funded Ph.D. positions
in Computer Science within the Software Quality

IMT’s Ph.D. program in Systems Science <https://sys.imtlucca.it>.
Successful applicants will receive the following benefits:

Enjoy a monthly stipend of approximately €1,300.

Live at no cost in full-board, serviced housing on the breathtaking IMT
campus in historic Lucca, Tuscany—valued at around €800 per month.

Benefit from a 50% increase in your scholarship for international
research stays.

Receive ample funding to support your innovative research efforts.
The program is fully funded for three years, with the possibility of a
scholarship extension of up to one year.
Working closely with IMT's SySMA group <https://sysma.imtlucca.it>, we
welcome outstanding applicants interested in several areas of computer
science, including formal methods, machine learning, modeling and simulation,
program verification, cybersecurity, and software engineering.
IMT Lucca fosters an international environment. The working language is
English.
