it's not just the result that's unused: the type of 'expr' isn't used
either when all the fields are specified:
# {"one" with contents = 2};;
Characters 0-25:
{"one" with contents = 2};;
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Warning 23: all the fields are explicitly listed in this record:
the 'with' clause is useless.
- : int ref = {contents = 2}
