The list is for general discussion about the language, as such there's a good chance that your patches will be lost. If you want them to be considered file an issue and get them on the bug tracker (http://caml.inria.fr/bin/caml-bugs) or if you have a github account you can also make a pull request there (https://github.com/ocaml/ocaml)
