I know of the revised syntax offered by camlp4, but are there any other
syntaxes
that are available? Specifically, I'd be interested in seeing an
S-expression
based syntax for O'Caml. If it doesn't exist already, how hard would such a
thing be to implement with camlp4?

by S-expression you mean lisp-like syntax ? There is one in the cvs
version (and maybe the 3.03 alpha version, but I am not sure...)

There is some: pa_lisp.cmo. But it is (very) incomplete. No doc on it,
but it is bootstrapped: see the file camlp4/etc/pa_lisp.ml in the
OCaml source distribution.
