Christian> Ocaml deserve to be used by far more people, it's a really
Christian> interesting language. But you will agree with me that it's
Christian> difficult to apprehend. It's done by researchers, lack
Christian> some documentation (especially in English I can't complain
Christian> the book on Ocaml in French is on the web). Basically the
Christian> first step is the harder.

You make it sound as if ML were the frontier of research .. surely
not. ML has been around for about as long as Unix, and more
revolutionary languages like Haskell approach a decade in existence.

Christian> I think I'm gonna do a gotcha page, but don't you think
Christian> such a page deserve his place on caml.inria.fr ?

It alredy exists:

http://caml.inria.fr/FAQ/FAQ_DEBUTANT-eng.html

At least 2 of your 3 problems are addressed there, and in its
companion FAQ_EXPERT.
