And only after they've read through that should they move on to the language manual. P.S. This is approximately how I got started with OCaml: * C language teacher at university shows me how to analyze C programs using CIL (which is an OCaml library) and got me interested in OCaml ... read some basic tutorials on Haskell ... remember about OCaml * read ocaml-tutorial.org on my own (I was already familiar with some concepts on functional programming though) * read (parts of) the OCaml Manual on my own Best regards, --Edwin
