What's the status of ocamldefun? I tried to install it a few months ago,
but the version I downloaded wouldn't compile with Ocaml 3.08, and it
didn't appear that the package was being actively maintained.

But if you're developing desktop software, please, please, at least
regularly test the product on machines comparable to what your users use.
