None of my posts are archived. For example:
http://caml.inria.fr/pub/ml-archives/caml-list/2004/12/44d75066acdec03c1bced756a0a4d533.en.html
Some conspiracy?!?
Rich.

Indeed, all of your posts to *that thread* are "redacted"... but
magically, people responding to you were able to quote you. :)
Not knowing how the automated machinery of the Caml list actually
functions, I could hazard a guess - were your posts to the thread in
question perhaps formatted as something other than plain text and/or
for some other reason appeared as attachments?
If there actually was a conspiracy involved here, it was somewhat
localized - random checks of other "richard jones" threads seem to all
be present and accounted for. :)

This is sort of what I thought. I also thought that perhaps my posts
contains an [X-]No-Archive header. Although I don't have the original
messages --- they are sitting on the hard drive of a computer with a
zapped motherboard at the moment --- I'm fairly certain that neither
is the case. I use mutt, and I don't add any fancy headers.

Well, odd :-)

I've noticed that PGP mime signed messages are also not archived. I
sent an email about this a week or two ago to the webmaster, but have
not heard back yet.
Here is an example of a problematic message:
http://caml.inria.fr/pub/ml-archives/caml-list/2005/03/
87cab0cdbbcfcf736b85d746ba610e78.en.html
(for reference, this is the following message:
http://sardes.inrialpes.fr/~aschmitt/cwn/2005.03.29.html#7 )

Probably you are right and they expect
Content-Type: text/plain
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
(maybe text/html and other encodings are also accepted)
Your content-type is not "text" while Richard Jones' messages do not contain
Content-Transfer-Encoding so both are rejected.

Hello,
the tool we use to create pages from messages did not look in parts of
multiparts messages. PGP-signed message are multipart messages. A small hack was
added to handle the case of multipart messages with a part having a
"application/pgp-signature..." content-type.
It should be ok, now.
Thanks for pointing the problem.
Regards,
