Subject: [Caml-list] Marshalling tests fail on AMD x86_64 (Opteron).
Date: Mon, 15 Dec 2003 19:16:53 -0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3FDE7925.7010900@cs.caltech.edu> (raw)
I am having problems with the marshaller (I am getting a segfault in the
marshaller) on the AMD x86_64 (Opteron) running Fedora Core development
version (AKA Red Hat Raw Hide) and OCaml 3.07+2.
To figure out what is going on, I tried running some tests.
When I run test/Moretest/intext.byt, I get:
...
Test 223 passed.
Test 300 passed.
Uncaught exception: Failure("input_value_from_block: bad object")
Exit 2
When I run test/Moretest/intext.out, I get:
...
Test 223 passed.
Test 300 passed.
Test 401 FAILED.
Test 402 FAILED.
Test 403 FAILED.
Test 404 FAILED.
Test 405 FAILED.
Test 406 FAILED.
Test 407 FAILED.
Test 408 FAILED.
Test 409 passed.
Test 410 FAILED.
Test 411 FAILED.
Test 412 FAILED.
Test 413 FAILED.
Test 414 FAILED.
Test 415 FAILED.
Test 416 FAILED.
Test 417 FAILED.
Test 418 FAILED.
Test 419 FAILED.
Test 420 FAILED.
Test 421 FAILED.
Test 422 FAILED.
Test 423 passed.
Test 424 passed.
Do these indicate a bug? Or is this expected and I should look for the
source of my problems elsewhere?
