Subject: [Caml-list] Profiling and classes
Date: Mon, 24 Mar 2003 13:33:50 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3E7EFB2E.9080506@baretta.com> (raw)
If I use ocamlcp to attempt to profile the execution of a
caml program with classes, I get a syntax error. This is the
piece of code generated by ocamlcp where the syntax error
comes up:
class environment (env:env) = object
(__ocaml_prof_cnt_xcaml_session_.(5) <- Pervasives.succ
__ocaml_prof_cnt_xcaml_session_.(5); method getvar varname =
....
I wonder if it makes any sense for ocamlprof to add such
initialization code as this before a method definition,
using the sequence operator ";". Does ocamlcp not know about
initializer methods?
Or am I doing something wrong?
Alex
