I've complained about hard to read error messages with unions,
particularly polymorphic variants. Ocaml 3.05 has much better
diagnostics! If there's a mismatch in variant tags, the compiler
pinpoints the problem.
This is much easier to work with -- quite a significant productivity
improvement for me.
