I think the longest match rule eats the whole input.
maybe you want:
rule token = parse
[...]
| "<![CDATA[" { cdata lexbuf }
[...]
and cdata = shortest
| (_* as d) "]]>" { Printf.printf "found data:'%s'\n" d; }
