Let me point out the considerable comfort improvement brought by the 3.03
release
for the ever-so-growing community of revised syntax users : the toplevel
loop now
prettyprints its answers in the syntax used for parsing. This means you may
now
teach the revised syntax to your students without risks of confusion
between what
is read and what is printed. All you need to do is put in your working
directory
a file .ocamlinit containing the single line:
#load "camlp4r.cma";;
and this is the last double semicolon you will ever need. No more need of the
infamous argument -I `camlp4 -where` in your command line, just call ocaml:
ocaml
Objective Caml version 3.03 ALPHA
Camlp4 Parsing version 3.03 ALPHA
# type foo=list bool;
type foo = list bool
# [0::[]]=[0];
- : bool = True
# match () with [ () -> do { print_string "Well "; print_string "Done !\n"
}];
Well Done !
