Subject: Label changes in 3.00
Date: Tue, 25 Jan 2000 10:57:06 +0900 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20000125105706X.garrigue@kurims.kyoto-u.ac.jp> (raw)
On the way to OCaml 3.00, I am thinking of changing a few unlucky
labels in the standard and other libraries.
Since such changes may create incompatibilities in modern mode
programs, labels in the standard library will be fixed after 3.00.
So this is the last chance to correct incongruities.
Currently here is the list of changes I plan to do:
List:
* replace [key:] by [item:] in mem and memq.
Set:
* replace [key:] by [item:] in mem, add and remove.
Unix:
* replace [name:] by [prog:] or [file:] according to the function.
If you have other suggestions please send them to me.
