yes you can (if I understand you correctly) :
class ['a] c = object
method m : 'a -> unit = function
| `A -> ()
| `B -> ()
| `C -> ()
end
and you get
class ['a] c :
object
constraint 'a = [< `A | `B | `C]
method m : 'a -> unit
end
