According to D. McClain, OCaml is currently the best programming
language for scientific processing. At the URL

Ocaml, Dylan, Erlang, Clean, Haskell, Lisp, Mathematica. O'Caml is
praised for the easyness of code writing and code maintenance, hi-quality
