The main problem is that it means the client needs
a full scale development environment.
On Windows .. this is out of the question.
On my Linux box it is too for many applications --
I simply don't have disk space left for sources.
One of my clients is running Linux .. on an XBox.
Other people are using hand-helds devices and
other small systems ..
You really want me to upgrade my telephone
by building from source??
